workshops

The central idea of Fernan Cardama at the time of issuance of workshops (clown,  object theater, solo man) is that each person finds a unique form of expression in which personally combine training he has had throughout his race. This means that in their workshops, acting training, clown, object theater and puppetry are in constant interaction.

OBJECT THEATRE WORKSHOP

Fernán Cardama was born in Argentina in 1969. In 1991, he graduates from
Conservatorio de Teatro (Theatre Conservatory) in Buenos Aires.
In 1995, he settles down in Paris where he starts his relation with the clown world and the theatre of objects. From 1996, he sets up with his company in Spain, creating his own style in which acting, puppets and the theatre of objects are all mixed up.
Among his teachers we can find: Raquel Sokolowizs, Daniel Casablanca and Tony Lestingy from Argentina;  Mario Gonzalez, Serge Poncelet, Gabriel Chamé, Pepa Díaz, Philipe Genty and Margareta Nicolescu from Europe.
As a teacher, Fernán Cardama has been giving courses and workshops since 1992.

Contents:
The starting point is Marcel Duchamp’s idea, from the “Ready-made”, that is to say, from what has already been made or “found” object. Manufactured objects decontextualized from its usual environment have to be found and are given a new identity. Besides, the use of the object has to have a metaphoric character. An introduction to the theatre of objects and its features is going to be dealt with within the workshop.

Target:
Actors, actresses, teachers, dancers, musicians and all those people who would like to know about the theatre of objects. There is no need to have experience.

Duration:
To be confirmed

Objectives:
The aim of this workshop is to get closer to the theatre of objects where each student can discover its features and its particular language and make use of it together with his/her training and own characteristics.
